GameWeb is a web-platform for administering experimental games for social science research, such as behavioral/experimental economics experiments, psychology experiments, and cross-cultural anthropological experiments in cooperation and social learning. A flexible, powerful and open-source system, GameWeb allows users to track mouse movements, create, adjust, pause and monitor games from a web interface. Co-developed by an anthropologist (Richard McElreath) and a resource economist (Travis Lybbert), GameWeb is used in research in India, Morocco, Kenya, and the US. The GameWeb team is has just released an alpha version of the software, and we are looking for researchers to try it out, provide feedback and help guide development.
